The FROZEN STICK Trail Run
The Frozen Stick Trail Run takes place on 27 February 2027 in Glencoe, Missouri at LaSalle Middle School, 3300 Mo-109. The event serves as the finale to the Stick Season Trail Run Series and uses the same route as the discontinued Frozen Feet; the organizer describes this as a continuation of a 15 year tradition.
The course leaves the school and runs through Bluffview, Rock Hollow and Zombie Trails. Runners pass aid and cheering stations twice before returning to an indoor racers village at the school for podiums, awards, finisher medals, music, snacks and event swag. Participants receive a Rockinator Racing neck buff, drinks, snacks, a chip timed result and a numbered bib. The course is fully marked, results are instant, and free downloadable photos are provided. The organizer provides free on course tracking via the Race Joy app so friends and family can follow runners in real time; operations can also locate participants and communicate if sag support is needed.
Prizes include podium places for the top three male and female overall finishers in both the 5 Mile and 13.1 races, with additional awards by ten year age groups.
