Santa's North Pole Dash 2026
Santa's North Pole Dash takes place Saturday, December 5, 2026, in Historic St. Charles, Missouri. The event is the 16th annual edition and this year uses a Disco Santa theme.
The event offers the following distances:
- 5K - Timed 5 kilometer run
- 1 Mile - Untimed 1 mile fun walk
Registered participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal, including a themed runner shirt and a themed Santa hat. Both the 5K and the 1 Mile take place on city streets and public paths in the Historic St. Charles area. A 5K course map is listed as coming soon.
Onsite activities include fresh donuts at the finish area, a life-size giant snowglobe photo feature, and a costume contest with prizes for creative and festive looks. Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers, a middle of the pack finisher, and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 12 and under through 80 and over.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, December 3 and Friday, December 4 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Fleet Feet - St. Charles (3813 Mexico Road). Race day packet pickup will be available in the tent at the Boathouse Parking Lot. Participant numbers indicate community interest in the event.
