About the race
The Frosty Buck Trail Race takes place in Glenmont, Ohio, and offers 50k and 25k trail distances built on the original BBTBU loop. In this revival, the event returns to a standard format rather than the Backyard Ultra style. The 50k consists of a 2-mile opening segment followed by seven loops of the classic course; the 25k covers three miles plus three loops.
Runners will encounter lightly stocked aid stations at the start/finish of each loop. The race aims for a nostalgic, rugged winter trail experience on a familiar, iconic loop, held on December 13, 2025. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
