Course and logistics
All courses start and finish within The Forge and use single- and double-track trails plus some gravel around the Lemont Quarries and the I&M Canal. Gravel sections are flat. Single-track sections have variable surfaces including dirt, grass, rocks, mud, roots, mulch and occasional stumps and short technical inclines and downhills. There are not any significant elevation changes. Trail running shoes are recommended.
A staffed aid station will be located at about Mile 6.2 for the multi-lap events; there will not be an aid station on the 10K. Parking is available in Lots 1 or 2 near the Forge entry bridges, with athlete parking on the north side of the I&M Canal; a shuttle from the Metra Station will not be available.

Awards are given 1st through 3rd overall male and female in each race. Raffles and additional sponsor prizes will be offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
