The Florida State 5K - Tampa, FL
The Florida State 5K is a road race held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa as part of FitFest Tampa Bay on August 15, 2026. The course runs through the fairgrounds and finishes into the FitFest festival area, combining a timed 5K and a festival experience on the same site.

- Fun Run (Ages 12 & Under)
All registered racers receive a finisher medal that features a rotating Ferris wheel design, a premium race shirt, race day photo opportunities, and free admission to FitFest Tampa Bay. FitFest features live sports and competitions, vendors and free samples, fitness classes and wellness experiences, and music throughout the day.
Awards are given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and top 3 male and female in listed age groups from 9 & under through 70+. A separate kids-only fun run for ages 12 and under includes children’s shirts and a short course.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, August 14 with times and location to be announced; additional race morning pickup details are also pending. On-site parking will be available at the fairgrounds with final details forthcoming. Spectator admission prices are listed for adults, ages 12 and under, and ages 5 and under.
