The Florida State 5K at FitFest Tampa Bay
The Florida State 5K takes place on August 15, 2026 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, FL and is presented as part of FitFest Tampa Bay. The course runs through the fairgrounds and is set within the festival site.
All registered runners receive a finisher medal featuring a rotating Ferris wheel design, a premium race shirt, race day photo opportunities, and free admission to FitFest Tampa Bay. FitFest includes live sports and competitions, dozens of vendors and product samples, fitness classes, wellness activities, and music.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, masters male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 9 and under through 70 plus. A separate Fun Run for ages 12 and under is offered with youth shirts and a shorter course.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, August 14 with times and location to be announced; race morning pickup details are pending. Registration pricing is tiered: $40 through April 29, $45 from April 30 to July 5, $50 from July 6 to August 14, and $55 for race day. Fun Run pricing is $30 through August 2 and $35 thereafter.
