Lake Louisa State Park Trail Run
The Lake Louisa State Park Trail Run is a trail racing event held at Lake Louisa State Park on November 7, 2026. The event offers three distances on natural park trails and varied terrain through pine forests, lakeshores and open meadows.
Packet pick-up is scheduled across November 5 to 7 at designated locations including the National Training Center and Lake Louisa State Park. Parking passes for the park are single day use, must be purchased online on the morning of the race, and the fees go directly to Lake Louisa State Park.
Course services include chip timing, post-race food, event swag and finisher medallions for participants. Aid stations are placed roughly every two miles; some are self serve and some are staffed by volunteers. On-course restrooms are provided at specific mile markers for the longer distances. Nutrition on the half marathon includes bananas and bars at the last three aid stations.
Awards are presented for overall male and female top finishers, masters 50+, top age group finishers across standard age brackets, and team awards including fastest and largest teams. A civil servant team competition is also included with separate team awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
