The Florida Run at Colt Creek State Park takes place on April 11, 2026 in Lakeland, FL. The event offers three distances:
- 5K (3.18 miles)
- 10K (6.28 miles)
- Half-Marathon (13.13 miles)
Entry fees listed on the race page are $50 for the 5K, $66 for the 10K, and $90 for the Half-Marathon. Prices increase after January 1, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled at Colt Creek State Park on the Friday before the event and on the morning of the race. The races are chip timed.
Course and race services
Courses run on maintained park trails through pine forest, lakeshores, and open areas. Routes are marked with signage. Aid stations are placed approximately every 2.5 miles; the 5K has one aid station, the 10K has two, and the Half-Marathon has five. On-course restrooms are provided (5K: one; 10K: at mile 3; Half-Marathon: at miles 3, 6, and 9.5). Nutrition for the Half-Marathon is provided at miles 5, 7.5, and 10. Elevation gain is listed as 104 ft for the 5K, 180 ft for the 10K, and 330 ft for the Half-Marathon. Participants receive event swag, a medallion, and post-race snacks. Individual and age-group awards are given, as well as team awards for run clubs, including fastest team and largest team categories.
