The First Hour
The First Hour is the opening event of the Friday Night Happy Hour series, organized by Dirty Soles at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area in Brighton, ON. The course is run on trails and is about 6-8 km depending on trail conditions.
Runners can expect hills, rocks, roots, and mossy log bridges. Some sections may be slippery, so caution is advised.
There are no aid stations on course. Water will be available at the start/finish area. This is a cupless event; participants should bring their own water bottles. A porta-potty is located near the parking lot; no other facilities are available on course.
Online registration is listed with a price of 35.07 USD. Day-of registration is available for 40 USD. Registration closes on May 11 at 11:59 PM ET.
Timing will be manual and there are no placement awards. There are no refunds; registrations may be deferred to another Happy Hour event. Dirty Soles swag will be available for purchase. Participants who complete all three Happy Hour races will receive a custom Dirty Soles medal and prize at The Last Hour. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
