Dark & Dirty - Night Trail Run
Dark & Dirty is a night trail race held on the trails of Batawa Ski Hill in Batawa, ON. The event offers two distances: 7 km and 14 km, run on well marked paths.
Runners will encounter rocks, roots, stumps and hills along the course. Headlamps, flashlights or waist lamps are mandatory. For safety, headphones are not allowed.
Aid stations will provide water and Tailwind. For 14 km participants there is water, Tailwind, watermelon, chips and freezies at the halfway point. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own water bottles.
Bibs must be worn visibly on the front and timing will be manual. All participants receive race medals and custom medals will be awarded to the first place male and female in each distance. There are also draw prizes donated by local businesses.
There are no refunds or deferrals for any reason. No changes to distance will be made on race day. Bib pick up is available on race night and porta potties will be located at the start and finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
