The course includes hills, rocks, roots, sticks, mud and insects. There is one road crossing that runners use at their own risk. Trail width varies from sections wide enough for two abreast to narrow single-file sections; courteous passing is requested.
Participants pass the aid station once per loop, approximately halfway through the course; water and Tailwind are provided. The event is cup-less; volunteers can refill hydration bladders, water bottles or handhelds. Space is available at the start/finish for drop bags, chairs or coolers.
Kit pick up occurs 90 minutes before the start and details will be emailed to participants. There are no refunds or deferrals for any reason. Spots may be transferred to another person; changes were not accepted after June 10, 2025, per the event information.
Timing requires check-in at the timing table at the start and end of each loop; a universal clock records times and results are posted to the organizer’s Facebook page. A porta potty will be on site and there are no change rooms. Registrants are eligible for race swag and a participant medal subject to the stated swag deadline.
