Boomerang Trail Run
The Boomerang Trail Run takes place on October 23, 2027 at Goodrich Loomis Conservation Area in Brighton, ON. The event is organized by Dirty Soles and offers time-based trail options so participants complete as many loops as they can within the chosen time limit.
Options include:
- 6HR race
- 4HR race
- 2HR race
Each loop is roughly 7 km and passes the aid station once per loop. The aid station, located about halfway through the loop, provides water and Tailwind and standard aid station items. This is a cup-less event; volunteers will assist with refilling hydration packs, water bottles, or handhelds.
The course runs through hills and includes rocks, roots, sticks, mud and insects. Trail width varies from sections wide enough for two abreast to single-file sections, so runners should be prepared for passing etiquette. Participants must check in at the timing table at the start and end of each loop; results are emailed within 48 hours.
There is space at the start/finish for drop bags, chairs or coolers. There will be a porta potty on site and no change rooms. Registrants receive a race shirt and a participant medal; shirt availability depends on the shirt deadline of September 27. No refunds or deferrals are offered; transfers are allowed before October 15, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
