The Father's Day Walk Run
The Father's Day Walk Run is an event supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada taking place on Sunday, June 21, 2026. The event offers in person activities at Burnaby Lake Regional Park and Kamloop's BC Wildlife Park and a virtual option across Canada.
The event has run for 28 years and supports research and patient services. To date it has raised over $5,000,000 and in 2025 it raised over $319,000. The foundation has awarded over $2.95 million in grants funding 98 research projects.
Organizers have distributed thousands of Reef Knot Kits free of charge to newly diagnosed patients, oncologists, and urologists across the country. The support network includes more than 72 national support groups, including Butts in a Boat and Butts in Motion, as well as specialized online communities and one on one peer support connecting men and their families.
