Event Details
The Fast and Furriest 5k is a 5 km run and walk event. It takes place on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
The event is organized by The Sanctuary at Haafsville, a local no-kill animal rescue in Breinigsville, PA. All funds raised will be used for the daily care of the shelter's animals, including veterinary and medical expenses.
Registration and Logistics
The registration fee is $35 through April 28, 2026, after which it increases to $40. There will be no race day registration. Race day check-in for all participants begins at 8:00 AM.
A custom-designed race T-shirt is offered, with a deadline of May 20th to be guaranteed one. Post-race refreshments will be available. Early bib and T-shirt pickup is available on Saturday, May 31st, from 12-2 PM at the Keystone Running Store in Allentown.
Course and Awards
The course is described as fun and will be open to the public with traffic control on site. Participants may run or walk. Awards will be given to the overall male and female first and second place finishers, as well as age group winners.
Additional Information
