The Fabulous 4th of July Race
The event takes place on July 4 in Long Beach, NY and offers short-distance running opportunities along the boardwalk. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the event date.

The 4-kilometer course is accurately measured (4-K, 2.49 miles) and described as flat, with start and finish on the boardwalk at Laurelton Boulevard. Baby strollers are not allowed on the race course.
Amenities include event T-shirts distributed to registrants at number pickup on the day of the race while supplies last, and awards for all participants in the kids race. All race participants may use the beach for free by showing their race bib at the beach entrance.
Awards are presented to the top overall male and female, top wheelchair participant, and the top three local police officers. Age-group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in standard categories from 14 and under through 80 and over.
Bib pickup is managed on-site at Laurelton Boulevard; bib numbers will be provided prior to pickup and a self-lookup area will be available. Results, finish-line photos, and event video are provided online on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
