2026 Long Beach Fabulous 4th of July Race in Memory of Sean Ryan
The event takes place on July 4, 2026 at the Boardwalk at Laurelton Blvd., 98 Laurelton Blvd., Long Beach, NY 11561. The race is held rain or shine. Registration and event administration are managed through the event organizer.
- 1 Kilometer Fun Run
- 4 Kilometer Run (4-K, 2.49 miles)
The 1K fun run is untimed and for children 15 years of age and younger. The 4-K course is accurately measured, described as flat and fast, with the start and finish on the boardwalk at Laurelton Boulevard. Baby strollers are not allowed on the race course.
Entry, amenities and awards
Published registration totals include processing fees: total for the 4K example listing is $38.98 and for the 1K example listing is $18.28. Bib pickup is available at 1 Laurelton Boulevard and t-shirts will be distributed at number pick up on the day of the race while supplies last. All kids in the fun run will receive an award. Race bibs admit participants to the beach for free when shown at the beach entrance.
Awards include top 1 male and female overall, top wheelchair participant, top 3 Long Beach Police Officers, and top 3 male and female in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
