The EQUALIZER RUN and RECOVER-FEST

The EQUALIZER RUN and RECOVER-FEST takes place on 10/24/2026 in Marthasville, Missouri (W South Street, 63357). The event combines a short loop run with multiple recovery and weekend activities at Racers Village and nearby locations.

The run is a chip-timed 5 miles composed of up to five repeats of a marked 1 mile loop that passes the campground, the Katy Trail, the KT Caboose, and downtown Marthasville before returning to Racers Village. Each split is recorded and participants may complete fewer than five laps.

An aid station at Racers Village provides water, sports drink, bananas, and light snacks and can be reached on each mile of the loop. A finisher medal is included.

Recovery and post-run offerings at the site include a cold plunge, a sauna van, an instructor-led 30–60 minute bodyweight Tabata workout, and instructor-led yoga and stretching sessions. Additional on-site features include music, announcers, discounted lunch from the KT Caboose, primitive camping with free showers, and viewing of the Missouri State Championship Gravel Bike Race as part of the weekend activities.

The weekend also includes next-morning activities such as a shakeout coffee walk to the KT Caboose, a sunrise yoga session in the park, and a no-drop gravel shakeout ride on part of the race course led by bike leads. Registration fee is $49.00. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
