Course and logistics
The course is USATF certified at 1.00203 miles per loop on smooth, paved, lighted paths that pass wooded areas and several lakes. Elevation gain per loop is about 12 to 15 feet. Direction on the loop is reversed every 6 hours. The park has restrooms with running water, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Participants are advised to bring a headlamp for visibility between lights.
Timing uses HuTag ankle chips with backup bib chips and on-site monitors to confirm lap reads. The aid station serves full meals daily and made-to-order food around the clock, including grilled items, nachos, soup, pizza at night, snacks, drinks, and popsicles. The event is cupless for cold drinks, with cups provided for hot beverages. Rental tents are available for multi-day runners for a fee.
