The Elephant Run
The Elephant Run is a certified 5K road race held in Park Ridge, New Jersey, organized as a fundraising event that benefits the Jimmy Fund and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The event is in its third year and has raised over $32,000 for cancer research and patient care.
The course runs on somewhat hilly local roads through Park Ridge and starts and finishes in the Park Ridge Pool parking lot at 123 Colony Ave. The race has a course time limit of 1 hour and 30 minutes. Number pick up details will be provided to participants closer to the race date. Prizes will be awarded to top participants in each age group. There will be food, music, and additional activities at the finish area. Parking is available in the Park Ridge Pool lot but will be somewhat limited with overflow on street parking.
