EFSB 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk : South Brunswick
The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township presents a community 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on November 1, 2026 at South Brunswick High School in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. The event is held rain or shine and all proceeds support resources for students and teachers in the South Brunswick Public Schools.
- 5K run on tree-lined neighborhood streets, marked route, one water station.
- 1 Mile walk around the South Brunswick High School campus.
The 5K route is newly paved and will be marked with signs. There is a water station near the corner of Welcome Farms Road and Stafford Road. Neighborhood roads will remain open to traffic, so participants should use caution while on the course. The 1 Mile walk takes place around the high school campus. Baby strollers and wheelchairs are welcome; pets are not permitted.
Registration features include early registration discounts, 5K discounts for students, and free walk entry for children age 5 and under. An official event T-shirt is guaranteed to 5K participants who pre-register by October 13, 2026; later registrations receive shirts while supplies last. Awards will be given for overall male and female finishers, district staff top finishers, and top three in multiple age groups. Professional chip timing will be used and official results will be posted after the race.
Check in and on-site registration take place at the South Brunswick High School gym entrance; please use the parking lot entrance on Ridge Road. Walk-up registration requires payment by credit card. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
