The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township hosts a community 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk at South Brunswick High School to raise funds for programs and resources for students and teachers. The event includes formal registration tiers and participant benefits.
Distances
- 5K: smooth, tree-lined neighborhood streets with one water station
- 1 Mile: route around the South Brunswick High School campus
The 5K course will be marked with signs, follows newly paved neighborhood roads, and includes a water station near Welcome Farms Road and Stafford Road. Neighborhood roads will remain open to traffic during the event, so participants should exercise caution on the course. The 1 Mile walk takes place around the school campus. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome; pets are not permitted.
Registration features multiple price tiers. 5K adult fees vary from $25 to $40 depending on registration period; 5K youth fees vary from $20 to $40. 1 Mile walk fees include a free option for children five and under and paid tiers from $10 to $15. A processing fee is added at checkout. A free event T-shirt is provided for 5K participants who pre-register by October 13, 2026; later 5K registrations receive shirts while supplies last. 1 Mile participants may purchase shirts until October 13.
Awards are presented for overall male and female 5K finishers, staff categories, and age-group placings. The race uses professional chip timing, and official results are posted after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
