The event is held rain or shine and benefits the Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township to support South Brunswick public schools.

The 5K runs through tree-lined neighborhood streets of South Brunswick and includes one water stop. The 1 Mile course is around the South Brunswick High School campus. The event starts and finishes at South Brunswick High School. Runners, walkers, baby strollers and wheelchairs are welcome; pets are not allowed.
Event t-shirts are guaranteed for 5K pre-registrations by October 15, 2025; 1 Mile participants may purchase t-shirts until October 15. Entry rates for the 5K and 1 Mile vary by registration period: Super Early Special through September 15, Early through October 15, and pre-registration after October 15. Children 5 and under enter the 1 Mile free. The 5K will be professionally scored using a chip timing system and awards will be given to top finishers and by age group.
