Community 5K run and walk

A community 5K run and walk on 10/24/2026 at 538 Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, NJ, held to honor women affected by metastatic breast cancer. The event is organized as a family-friendly, non-competitive community run and walk.

Participants may run, jog, or walk the 5K course. Small prizes will be awarded to the first, second, and third overall finishers. A post-race celebration will feature music, food truck vendors, and opportunities to donate or otherwise support the cause. Net proceeds will go to a charity chosen by the event organizer and to families affected by breast cancer.

Registration opens June 17, 2026 and closes September 7, 2026; the registration fee is $50. Parking is planned in Lot C at Knob Hill Pavilion. Colonial Drive will be closed for the race and will reopen afterward. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
