Event Details

The Eagle Way 5K is a community event presented by the Hardin Park PTO. It takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Boone Greenway, part of Watauga County Parks and Recreation. The event features a timed 5K run or walk.

Registration and Pricing

Standard registration for the 5K costs $35. There is age-based pricing: participants aged 1-9 pay $25. Registration can be completed without ordering a race shirt, which reduces the cost by $15. The registration price increases after April 9, 2026. A T-shirt is guaranteed for registrations completed by April 10.

Awards and Atmosphere

Awards are given for the first to third places in the Kids 9 & Under category, as well as for the overall first, second, and third places for male and female participants. The event has a family atmosphere and is followed by the Hardin Park Eagle Fest, which includes food trucks and music starting at 11:00 AM. A donation option is also available.
