The Dundonald 10K Road Race
The Dundonald 10k Road Race is a 10 km road event held on 29 July 2026 and organised by the Dundonald Games Society as part of Games Week. Electronic timing is provided by Perfect Timing and the event is licensed by Scottish Athletics under UK Athletics rules.
The course runs to Symington and back, starting on Drybridge Road and finishing at Dundonald Castle. The route is described as undulating, is clearly marked, and will have marshals in attendance. Water stations are provided mid-race and at the finish. All finishers receive a medal and prizes are awarded to the first male and first female finishers and to the first Dundonald male and first Dundonald female.
This is a pre-entry only event with a limit of 300 runners; no entries are taken on the day. Minimum age is 15 years on race day. Entry fees are quoted in the event information, with a discounted rate available for members of any of SA EA WA. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Registration takes place at Dundonald Activity Centre, Castle Drive, Dundonald, KA2 9EP, where participants collect their timing chip and race bib. Parking, changing and toilet facilities are available at the registration venue.
