Event overview
The Drop - Horsham is an orienteering-style challenge on 17 May 2026 that starts and ends at Up & Running, 20 Queen Street, Horsham RH13 5AF. Entrants must be aged 18 or over on the event date. Entry fees are listed as £45 for the shorter option and £55 for the longer option.

Format and rules
Participants register and hand over electronic devices and navigational aids. Each person receives a race number and an emergency bag. Competitors board a bus, wear a blackout blindfold or an alternative, and are driven to an undisclosed drop-off location. From that point, participants must find their way back to the event centre using no maps, no GPS, no compass, and no outside help. Distances are measured as the crow flies; actual route distance may be longer. Opening an emergency bag seal or using unauthorised navigation aids results in disqualification.
Safety and tracking
Live GPS tracking is offered as an optional feature separate from the entry fee. Trackers are said to be accurate within 5 metres but can be affected by buildings and signal gaps. Trackers should be placed in an outside pocket for best performance and must be returned after the event or a £175 replacement fee will apply.
