The CDF 10K is a 10 km road race in central Cardiff held on 06 September 2026. The event is a revival of a historic city race and has attracted thousands of runners in its recent editions.
Route and context
The course runs through central Cardiff and passes several city landmarks, including Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium. Runners cross the River Taff and continue toward the Pontcanna and Llandaff areas, passing the grade 2 listed parkland of Pontcanna Fields and Sophia Gardens cricket ground. The race concludes with a grandstand finish at the Edwardian Civic Centre.
