CDF 10K - Cardiff
The CDF 10K is a city centre 10 kilometre race that runs through central Cardiff. The course passes key city landmarks including Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium, crosses the River Taff and moves into the leafy suburb of Pontcanna. Runners also pass the grade 2 listed parkland of Llandaff and Pontcanna Fields and Sophia Gardens, the home of Welsh cricket, before a grandstand finish at the Edwardian Civic Centre.
The event is presented as a revival of a historic race and has given thousands of runners the opportunity to run on streets in the heart of the Welsh capital. The race is described as well placed in the calendar for those training over the spring and summer months, and as a stepping stone for runners preparing for the Cardiff Half Marathon in October.
Practical details and additional event materials such as route maps, galleries and volunteer information are maintained by the organisers. Sponsors and partners for the event include local and national organisations listed by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
