The CDF 10K is a city 10K in Cardiff scheduled for Sep 05 2027. The event presents a sightseeing route through the centre of the Welsh capital and highlights several civic landmarks.
The course passes Cardiff Castle and the Principality Stadium, crosses the River Taff, and heads toward the suburb of Pontcanna. Runners continue by the grade 2 listed parkland of Llandaff and Pontcanna Fields, pass Sophia Gardens, and finish with a grandstand finish at the Edwardian Civic Centre.
The revival of this historic event has given thousands of runners the opportunity to run on central Cardiff streets. The event is described as a city-centre road race that connects central Cardiff locations with nearby parkland and sporting venues.
