CDF 10K : Cardiff
The CDF 10K is a city road race organised by Run 4 Wales, a not‑for‑profit social enterprise that works in partnership with London Marathon Events. The event has run since 1986 and showcases central Cardiff with a route that passes Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, crosses the River Taff and continues through Pontcanna, Llandaff and Sophia Gardens before a finish at the Edwardian Civic Centre.

10K entries include a technical race t‑shirt, a finishers medal and live tracking via the Run 4 Wales app. Race numbers contain an embedded timing chip; competitors should pin their number to the front of their shirt and complete the medical information on the reverse. Race packs and guides are posted to entrants in the build up to the event, with guidance available for collection or replacement of lost or undelivered packs.
Accessibility information notes that athletes with disabilities and specific access needs are welcome; wheelchairs may enter the 10K and junior races, while buggies are permitted in the Fun Run. The event runs on fully closed roads with marshals and medical advice provided. A Business Challenge option allows teams to enter and compete, with event partner and charity opportunities including support for Kidney Wales.
