The Downtown Dunedin Mardi Gras runs take place on February 15, 2026, hosted from HOB (House Of Beer) Brewing Company at 941 Huntley Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698. The event offers multiple race distances on the fully paved Pinellas Trail. Registration is limited to 200 participants. Electronic timing is used and official finish times are posted the afternoon of the race on the organizer's results page. Finishers receive one medal per registrant.
Course, distances and logistics
- 5K
- 10K - two loops of the 5K route
- 15K - three loops; listed with a 2.5 hour time guideline
Each course is an out-and-back route that heads north from HOB Brewing Company. The trail is flat and fully paved; the course is stroller and dog friendly. Runners may exit at any loop if needed. Top finisher framed awards are given to the first 15 male and first 15 female finishers in each distance; additional awards are available for youth and seniors. Check-in opens on race day only. A bag check is available from check-in until noon. Downtown parking is free and participants are encouraged to use the Artisan parking garage. Registrations include a promotional T-shirt and a complimentary beer for registrants over 21. There are no refunds and entry fees increase at set registration thresholds. Children in the kid's dash must be registered in that category to receive the kids' medal; the kids run does not include a promotional T-shirt.
