The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk
The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk takes place in Carmel at St. Vincent Sports Performance in Clay Terrace on December 19, 2026. The event marks its 20th anniversary and includes both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option.
Jack's Donuts will be on the course and at the finish line, with over 7,000 donut holes to be served. Each bib includes a buy one get one free donut offer from Jack's of Carmel. All participants will receive the official event shirt and medal. The first 1,500 registered participants will receive a DONUT ME stocking hat in the 2026 design.
The event supports local animal rescues and has donated over $100,000 over the years. Competitive awards include a cash purse for the top three male and top three female finishers, plus age group awards. The announcement notes that new 5K age categories mean course records for age group winners.
Raceday packet pickup, vendors, and the post-race party are located inside the St. Vincent Sports Performance large training room. An after party is held at Upland Brewing, a short walk from the finish, with a grab-and-go breakfast available; Upland is open to all ages and offers a complimentary beverage for those 21 and older from Upland or the official beer partner. Dogs are allowed to participate and there are awards for best dressed pups. Free parking is available in the Clay Terrace mall parking lots.
