The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk
The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk returns to Carmel, Indiana, for its 20th anniversary event. The run takes place at St. Vincent Sports Performance located within Clay Terrace. This holiday-themed event serves as a fundraiser for local animal rescues, having donated over $100,000 to these organizations over previous years.
Participants can choose between two entry options:
- Donut 5K
- Donut 5K Virtual
The event features Jack's Donuts throughout the experience, with donut holes provided both along the course and at the finish line. Each participant's bib includes a buy one get one free donut offer at the Carmel location. Registered participants receive an official event shirt and a finisher medal. Additionally, the first 1,500 people to register are provided with a specialized stocking hat.
The race environment is hosted at the St. Vincent Sports Performance training room, which serves as the location for packet pickup, vendors, and the post-race gathering. Dogs are permitted to participate in the run, and awards are given for the best holiday-themed pet costumes. A cash purse is available for the top three male and female finishers, and awards are presented for various age groups.
Following the run, an after-party is held at Upland Brewing, located a five-minute walk from the finish. Free parking is available in the Clay Terrace mall lots. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
