The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk - 20th Anniversary
The Donut 5K Holiday Run/Walk takes place on December 19, 2026 in Carmel at St. Vincent Sports Performance in Clay Terrace (14455 Clay Terrace Blvd). The event includes both an in-person Donut 5K and a Donut 5K Virtual option. Registration opens December 13, 2025; the in-person registration window closes October 31, 2026, and virtual registration remains open through race day. The listed registration fee is $40.00.
The event provides donuts on the course and at the finish line, with over 7,000 donut holes to be served, and a buy-one-get-one-free donut coupon on every bib. The race benefits local animal rescues and has donated over $100,000 over the years. Prizes include a cash purse for the top three male and female finishers and age group awards. All participants receive the official event shirt and medal, and the first 1,500 registered entrants will receive a DONUT ME stocking hat (2026 design). Raceday packet pickup, vendors, and the post-race party will be inside the St. Vincent Sports Performance large training room. Dogs are allowed to participate, there will be awards for best dressed pups in holiday gear, and there is plenty of free parking in the Clay Terrace mall lots.
