The Dock Closing 3.3 Mile Race
The Dock Closing is a point to point 3.3 Mile run/walk held in Montauk on November 8, 2026. The course begins at the Montauk Post Office, 73 S Euclid Ave., and finishes at The Dock Bar & Grill, 482 West Lake Dr. The event is limited to 500 participants.
All registrants receive a t-shirt. Amenities listed for the event include beer, juice, and water at the finish, a 50/50 raffle with prizes, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Entry pricing is shown with a base registration amount of $35 and additional processing options that can change the total.
Packet pickup is available before race day at The Dock and there is day of pickup through event staff. The organizer requests no dogs and no bicycles on the course, and notes that there is no transportation provided back to the starting line. Awards are announced for top overall male and female, top kids 12 and under male and female, and top stroller.
