Montauk Mile - Montauk, NY
The Montauk Mile is a one-mile road event held at Lion's Field in Montauk, New York. The 2027 edition is scheduled for June 6, 2027 and the event takes place rain or shine. The program includes separate men's and women's mile races and a free kids fun run for children ages 6 and under.
Event services and results include live online results, text and email result delivery, free finish-line photos, and same-day video and finish-line pictures. Finishers aged 21 and over receive a free pint from the Montauk Brewery Co.
Awards and prizes are distributed to overall finishers and age-group top finishers. The top male and female overall each receive $300. Trucker hats are given to the first 75 male and first 75 female finishers, a prize is awarded to the 67th male and 67th female finisher, and the top two finishers in each of the following age groups receive awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus.
Race logistics note that bib pickup and check-in occur at Lion's Field; bib numbers are communicated by text or email before pickup and a self-lookup area is available for those who do not know their number. Registrations submitted at least three weeks before the event receive a personalized race number.
All proceeds benefit the OMAC Scholarship Fund and assist the East Hampton High School varsity cross-country teams' travel to the Ocean State Invitational in Rhode Island. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
