The Dirt Circuit - Morristown, TN
The Dirt Circuit is a loop trail running event held at Panther Creek State Park, 2010 Panther Creek Road, Morristown, TN. The course is a 2.9 mile loop that combines wide and single track trails through fields and woods, including two wooden bridge crossings and scenic views of Panther Creek. The start and finish are at the soccer fields, which serve as Base Camp and the location of the single aid station.
Race options include multiple timed events:

- 24 hour 6 person relay
- 12 hour
- 12 hour 6 person relay
- 6 hour
- 6 hour Ruck
- 3 hour
The event is cup free; participants are responsible for carrying their own hydration. Runners must wear their race number on the front to ensure lap credit. Relay teams may decide their own handoff strategy and are not required to hand off every lap. Pacing and crewing of runners are permitted. Course markings will be placed at major crossings and headlamps are recommended for overnight running.
A 6 hour ruck division requires ruck sacks only with specified minimum dry weights and accepts steel ruck plates or clearly stamped weight plates. Each ruck finisher receives a ruck patch. Base Camp aid station provides water, electrolyte drinks, gels, fruit, snacks, first aid, and cooked food served during the event. Primitive camping at Base Camp is included with registration; RV sites and cabins are available through the park campground. Registration is not transferable and refunds are not offered.
