Event overview
The Dirt Circuit is an ultramarathon event on September 19, 2026 at Panther Creek State Park, 2010 Panther Creek Road, Morristown, TN 37814. The event offers multiple timed races and team options, including:

Course and rules
The course is a 2.9-mile loop that resembles a cross country course. It combines wide and single-track trails through fields and woods, includes two wooden bridge crossings, and follows trails with views of Panther Creek. The loop is marked with flags and tape at major trail crossings. Headlamps are recommended for nighttime running. The event is cup free; participants must carry their own hydration. Runners must keep their race bib visible on the front to receive lap credit. Pacing and crewing are permitted. Unsportsmanlike conduct, course cutting, littering, or policy violations can result in disqualification. Relay teams may choose their own handoff strategy, and only one team member may run at a time.
Ruck division, aid, awards, lodging
A 6-hour ruck division requires weighted packs: men 30 lb, women 15 lb, boys under 15 20 lb, girls under 15 10 lb. Competitors must weigh in to qualify for a finisher patch. A single aid station at Base Camp will offer water, electrolyte drinks, gels, fruit, snacks, and first aid; pizza and other cooked foods will be provided during the event. Primitive camping at Base Camp is included with registration; RV sites and cabins are available through the park campground. T-shirts and finisher awards are provided for participants registered within the swag cutoff; entries are nontransferable and refunds are not offered.
