Strawberry Plains Half Marathon and 10K
The Strawberry Plains event takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. Races start and finish at Rush Strong School, 3081 W Old Andrew Johnson Hwy. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon - USATF certified (TN15005MS); start and finish at Rush Strong School
- 10K - USATF certified (TN15006MS); mostly flat out-and-back course
- Virtual Half Marathon - remote participation option
- Virtual 10K - remote participation option
Course, registration, and logistics
The half marathon follows a scenic, rolling course through Jefferson County and the Holston River Valley with views of Clinch and House Mountain. The 10K is described as mostly flat with a few climbs. The course is open to traffic; the use of headphones and other personal music devices is strongly discouraged. The half marathon is not walker friendly and will close after 3 hours and 30 minutes. No runners under age 15 are allowed in the half marathon.
Packet and bib pickup will be available race morning in the Rush Strong School gymnasium, with an optional early pickup at Dick’s House of Sport in Knoxville. Parking is available at the school and at the First Baptist Church across the street. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. There are no refunds and no transfers. Awards include overall and specialty categories, age-group awards, and a finisher medal for all finishers. Grand Prix team competition and points apply.
