Strawberry Plains Half Marathon and 10K
The Strawberry Plains event on February 14, 2026 features a half marathon and a 10K that start and finish at Rush Strong School, 3081 W Old Andrew Johnson Highway, Strawberry Plains, Tennessee 37871. Parking is available at the school and at the First Baptist Church across the street; participants are asked to follow parking attendants.
Both courses are USATF certified (Half: TN15005MS, 10K: TN15006MS). The half marathon follows a scenic, rolling route through the Holston River Valley in Jefferson County with views of Clinch and House Mountain. The 10K is a mostly flat out and back course with only a few climbs. The course is open to traffic and the use of headphones and personal music devices is strongly discouraged.
The half marathon is not walker friendly, closes after 3 hours and 30 minutes, and does not permit runners under age 15. Packet and bib pickup are available race morning in the Rush Strong School gymnasium; an optional early pickup is offered at Dicks House of Sport in Knoxville. Race shirts are provided while supplies last according to the event's T shirt policy.
Post race refreshments include a country style breakfast. Awards are presented for overall placings, multiple masters age groups, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and age group awards; all finishers receive a commemorative medal.
