SUPERHEROES 5K AND 1 MILE WALK-A-THON, White Pine, TN
The SUPERHEROES 5K AND 1 MILE WALK-A-THON is scheduled for April 4, 2026 at Lakeway Christian Academy, 3720 Roy Messer Hwy., White Pine, TN 37890. The community event is presented as a family friendly activity that also serves as a way to observe April as National Autism Awareness Month.
The program includes the following distances:
- 5K (runners only; professionally timed by WE RUN FASTER)
- 1 mile Walkathon (walk or race walk; untimed, held on the track)
Registration opens on the day of the event prior to each activity. The 5K offers a cash prize of $100 for overall top qualifiers for both male and female categories. The 1 mile Walkathon awards prize packs to the top three participants who raise the most funds through donations and sponsorships. Additional awards will be given for best superhero costume across all ages in both the 5K and the Walkathon.
