The Dilton Dash 10K, 3K & 1/2K fun run
The Dilton Dash takes place on 10 May 2026 at Dilton Marsh playing field, BA13 4DZ. The event offers multiple distances over a multi terrain route that uses footpaths, tracks and a little bit of road, and includes stiles and gates.

The event supports various Dilton Marsh Village causes. Awards are given in several categories: the 10 km has 1st to 3rd male and female prizes plus 1st local Dilton Marsh male and female; the 3 km has 1st male and female plus age category prizes for boys and girls aged 11 to 16 and 10 and under; the 1/2 km fun run has 1st boy and 1st girl. All finishers receive a medal.
Facilities include toilets, refreshments for purchase, two water stations for 10 km runners and one water station for 3 km runners. First aid cover is provided and the event is fully insured.
Practical details include limited parking with no parking at the playing field on the day, and course restrictions: the 10 km is open only to those aged 16 or over on race day, under 10s on the 3 km must be accompanied by an adult, no dogs are allowed, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and headphones and bone conduction headphones are not permitted. Places are limited and entries close on 1 May 2026 or earlier if the event limit is reached. Race numbers must be secured to the front of the top and be visible at the finish.
