Frome Running Festival 2026
The Frome Running Festival takes place in Somerset, featuring routes that navigate through rural landscapes, residential areas, and the town centre streets. The event is held in support of Dorothy House and offers three distinct distances for participants:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half Marathon
The courses are designed to showcase the local scenery, with the final mile of the races passing through the heart of Frome town centre. This closing section includes a downhill curve leading toward the finish line. Due to local road closures, a three-hour cut-off time is in effect for the half marathon distance.
Participants are supported by a team of marshals throughout the course. The event features an event village equipped with various food and drink options, along with refreshments provided by partners. Each participant receives chip-timed results to track their performance, and free race photos are made available following the event.
Upon completing their respective distances, all runners receive a unique themed medal. The festival atmosphere is supported by a well-serviced staging area located at Berkley Road.
