About the race
The Descent is a thrilling 10k road race held in Green Lane, Greetland, Halifax. The course is entirely downhill, starting from the top of Scammondon and finishing in West Vale, descending over 300 meters. This scenic and fast route is chip-timed and well-marked, making it suitable for runners of all abilities, from beginners to experienced athletes.
