The Depot Dash
The Depot Dash takes place on October 31, 2026 in Ruston, Louisiana at The Depot, 211 W Railroad Dr. The course runs through part of downtown Ruston and the Greenway. The route will be well marked and include water stations. Check in will take place in the parking lot of The Depot, and event parking is available in the First Baptist Church parking lot across the street.
Distances offered:
- 1 Mile Fun Run: 1 mile, $25 registration fee
- 5K Run: 3.1 miles, $35 registration fee
- Tshirt Only: t shirt option, $20 fee
Registration opens September 11, 2026. Registration for race events closes October 31, 2026. Tshirt only registration closes October 23, 2026. Every registration includes a t shirt; t shirts can only be guaranteed for those who register before Tuesday, October 20.
Swag bags and giveaways are provided by sponsors. Awards will be given to the overall male and female 1st through 3rd places. The 5K will award the top three finishers in these age brackets: 9 and under, 10 to 14, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus. Because the event falls on Halloween, there is an award for the best dressed. After the event there will be coffee and live music. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
