Purpose and logistics
The event raises funds for Holocaust education, genocide awareness, and humanitarian programs for children and families. Listed beneficiaries include Am Yisrael Chai!, several international child-support organizations, the Atlanta Holocaust Survivor fund, and the Jewish Federation of Atlanta Israel support fund. The event also collects new or gently used clothing, linens, medical supplies, and non-perishable food for refugee families; items are collected at the race for donation. Early bib pick-up is available at Big Peach Running Store - Brookhaven on March 27; otherwise bibs are available at Brook Run Park on race day. Parking is available at Brook Run Park with overflow at Peachtree Middle School.
