The Crowle 10K
The Crowle 10k is a community-focused running event held in the village of Crowle, near Worcester. Celebrating its 23rd edition, the event features a variety of distances held on courses around the village field and local roads. While the primary event is a road race, the junior events utilize friendly courses designed for younger participants.
The event offers three distinct distances:
- 10 km race for participants aged 16 and over.
- One mile fun run for participants aged 15 and under.
- Quarter mile fun run for participants aged 8 and under.
The 10k race requires pre-registration as there are no entries available on the day of the event. However, the junior races allow for spontaneous entries on the day. All runners receive a medal upon completion, and prizes are awarded to the fastest finishers across several categories.
Amenities and entertainment are provided at the Crowle Parish Hall, which serves as the hub for registration and facilities. On-site offerings include a BBQ, homemade cakes, and tea and coffee. There is scheduled entertainment for children throughout the day. Parking is located approximately 100 meters past the Parish Hall, with the start line and toilets within a short walking distance of the car park.
