The Evesham Town 10K
The Evesham Town 10 km is organised by Evesham Vale Running Club and marks the event's nineteenth year. The route runs around the streets, parks and riverside paths of Evesham in Worcestershire. It is an accurate chip timed course with some unsealed sections; ordinary running shoes are suitable.
The Race Village is located on Crown Meadow and provides pre and post race refreshments, supervised baggage storage and a first aid point available until the last runner has finished. Race numbers and timing chips must be collected on the morning of the event from Race Village. Water is available from two stations on the course; one station is passed twice and water will be dispensed in compostable cups.
The race is held under UK Athletics rules. Competitors must follow event rules, obey marshals and respect the Highway Code. For safety, only bone conducting headphones are permitted. Results are provided as both gun time and individual chip time and will be available in the Race Village shortly after finishing and published afterwards on the event page and the EVRC website.
Entry fees are listed as £25.00 unaffiliated and £23.00 affiliated. No transfers are allowed after 30 June 2026 and the closing date for entries is Thursday 2 July 2026. The organiser lists total places as 500 and the event is currently operating a waiting list. Sponsors include Sheldon Bosley Knight and BHGS Ltd with support from Love Evesham Noticeboard.
