The Maverick Cotswolds Trail : Sudeley Castle, 22 May 2027
The event is a set of off‑road trail races based at Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire (GL54 5LP). Routes run across the Cotswold Way and Winchcombe Way through rolling hills, honey‑stone villages, ancient woodland and open ridge lines.
The course surface is mainly hard‑packed, established trails with some steeper climbs, flowing bridleways, woodland trails and long descending sections. There are on‑course outposts offering sweet and savoury snacks, gels and electrolyte drink; the outposts aim to be cup‑free so runners should bring a re‑usable cup or bottle.
