Hallow 12 Parish Challenge
The Hallow 12 Parish Challenge takes place on 11 July 2026 with the event base at Hallow Scout Hut, Playing Fields, Hallow, WR2 6PW. The event starts in the village of Hallow and routes pass through twelve local parishes.
The event offers circular routes for runners and walkers. Distances available include:
- 40 miles
- 27.5 miles
- 19 miles
- 14 miles
- 10 miles
Routes are mainly off road, follow public footpaths and are waymarked at key points. All routes are circular and the published start and finish reference is SO825581. Route descriptions and maps for each distance will be emailed and made available on the event website a couple of weeks before the event.
Checkpoints are placed approximately every 5 miles; each checkpoint provides drinks and simple snacks. The specified number of checkpoints varies by route, with more checkpoints on the longer distances. Entry fees differ by distance and by entry method; fees include refreshments on route, tea and coffee at registration, and a hot meal at the finish. Completion is recognised with a certificate.
