Hallow 12 Parish Challenge
The Hallow 12 Parish Challenge is an outdoor running and walking event held on 11 July 2026 at Hallow Scout Hut, Playing Fields, Hallow (WR2 6PW). Routes run through 12 local parishes and are mainly off road, following public footpaths.
Distances offered:
- 40 miles
- 27.5 miles
- 19 miles
- 14 miles
- 10 miles
All routes are circular and are waymarked at key points. Checkpoints provide drinks and simple snacks; the number of checkpoints varies by route (approximately: 10-mile 1 checkpoint, 14-mile 2 checkpoints, 19-mile 3 checkpoints, 27.5-mile 5 checkpoints, 40-mile 6 checkpoints). Route descriptions and maps for each distance will be emailed and available on the event website a few weeks before the event.
Entries open 1 October 2025 and close 3 July 2026. Entry fees are £21 for the 40, 27.5 and 19 mile routes, and £16 for the 14 and 10 mile routes. Fees include tea and coffee at registration, drinks and snacks at checkpoints, and a hot meal at the finish. Entries are by pre-entry only; there are no entries on the day.
