Hallow 12 Parish Challenge
The Hallow 12 Parish Challenge is a circular walk and run event starting in the village of Hallow. Routes follow public footpaths and are mainly off road, passing through twelve local parishes and countryside around Worcester. All routes are waymarked at key points.
Distances available:
- 40 miles, circular route for runners and walkers.
- 27.5 miles, circular route for runners and walkers.
- 19 miles, circular route for runners and walkers.
- 14 miles, circular route for runners and walkers.
- 10 miles, circular route for runners and walkers.
Each route includes several staffed checkpoints spaced at about five mile intervals. Checkpoints provide drinks and simple snacks. Registration includes tea and coffee, drinks and snacks at checkpoints, and a hot meal served at the finish. Participants receive a certificate on completion.
Route descriptions and maps for each distance will be emailed to entrants and published online a couple of weeks before the event. Entries are managed through the event entry system and have specific opening and closing dates. Routes are designed to use public footpaths and are clearly waymarked for navigation.
