Event details
The Hallow 12 Parish Challenge is scheduled for 11 July 2026 in Hallow, Worcester (WR2 6PW). Entries open 1 October 2025 and close 3 July 2026. The event starts and finishes at the Hallow Scout Hut / Playing Fields. Entries listed on the organiser’s entry system show 49 participants so far. Entry fees are shown as £21 for the longer routes and £16 for the shorter routes; postal entry rates on the event site are slightly lower. Prices are stated to include tea and coffee at registration, drinks and snacks at checkpoints, and a hot meal at the finish.
Routes and support
All routes are circular, mainly off road and following public footpaths through 12 local parishes. Distances offered:
- 40 miles
- 27.5 miles
- 19 miles
- 14 miles
- 10 miles
Routes are waymarked at key points. Checkpoints are placed roughly every 5 miles; the number of checkpoints varies by distance (for example, one checkpoint for the 10-mile route and six for the 40-mile route). All checkpoints provide drinks and simple snacks. Route descriptions and maps will be emailed to entrants and made available on the event website a few weeks before the event.
