The Cragg Challenge 2027
The Cragg Challenge takes place on Sunday 27 June 2027 in Mytholmroyd, HX7 5AF. All event activity is on Cragg Road (B6138) with a start and finish adjacent to Royd Ices. Registrations on the day are at the Royd Ices building next to the start/finish area.
The public road will be closed for the events and all official events will be electronically timed. There are restricted entry numbers for each event. The programme includes both running and cycling formats, with measured courses and specific ascent and descent sections on Cragg Road. The cycling ascent uses a full road closure and an electronic summit clock synchronised to the start so entrants can be timed for the ascent. The 10K and 5K runs use an ascent to a turning point then a return to the start/finish area. The one-mile event is a measured course up and down Cragg Road starting and finishing in Mytholmroyd. A school relay is included and entries for that relay are handled through participating schools.
