The Cow Shed Backyard Ultra

The Cow Shed Backyard Ultra is a unique endurance running event scheduled for September 20, 2025, at Wheelbirks Farm in Northumberland. Following the format of Big's Backyard Ultra, participants must complete a 4.1-mile loop every hour until only one runner remains. New for 2025, teams of up to five can compete together, with individual and team results being tracked.

The course features varied terrain with approximately 550 feet of elevation gain per loop. All competitors receive an eco-friendly memento, and amenities include camping, food options, and refreshments.
