The event takes place in McLemore Cove at Mountain Cove Farms, Chickamauga, GA (994 Dougherty Gap Rd). McLemore Cove lies between Lookout Mountain and Pigeon Mountain and is described as a transition between the Cumberland Plateau and the Ridge and Valley province. Registration closes on Tue, Mar 10 at 11:59 PM ET. Register by February 27 to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Course, distances and requirements
All courses climb up Pigeon Mountain and include sections that pass by Rocktown. Organizers note runners will be kept clear of Ellison's Cave. The 30K and 50K routes go by Rocktown; the 50K also uses the Estelle Mines Trail and passes Pocket Falls and the High Point Overlook. The 50K has a 10-hour time limit.

Crockford-Pigeon Mountain WMA is not a Georgia State Park, so there is no parking charge for the event. Runners must purchase a day-use Combo Hunting/Fishing short-term license for the race day for $5. A $5 discount is offered to GUTS members using the 2024 discount code they receive from GUTS.
