The Child Advocacy Center of Tuscola County Superhero 5K Run/Walk
The event is a 5K run and walk that was rescheduled to October 16, 2026 after an earlier date was postponed due to a rain out and a hazardous air index. Registrations that were already completed were transferred to the new date. New registrations remain open until the day before the event, but event shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations made after October 9, 2026; shirts from the prior year will be provided for later registrants.
The start and finish are located at the Tuscola County Fairgrounds, at the corner of State Street and Park Drive in Caro, Michigan.
The event benefits the Child Advocacy Center of Tuscola County. The center serves children who have experienced sexual or physical abuse or neglect and aims to reduce trauma during investigations and interventions. The center provides a child friendly environment where children can tell their story one time, at one place, to one specially trained professional. In 2025 the center conducted 163 forensic interviews that contributed to arrests and prosecutions. The organization provides its services at no cost to families.
