Event Overview
The Mardi Gras Run takes place at Reese High School in Reese, Michigan. It offers a 5K Run, 5K Walk, and a 10K Run.
Registration and Fees
The entry fee is $10.00, which does not include a race shirt. From each entry, $2.00 is donated to the Reese High School Athletic Program.

Series Participation and Awards
This event is part of the BARC Winter Race Series. Awards are given to all finishers. Runners earn points for participating in each series race and for their finishing place within their age group. To qualify for a special series award, participants must run three races in the same age group and the same distance. Points are awarded as follows: 5 points for course completion, plus 5 points for 1st in an age group, 4 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd, 2 for 4th, and 1 for 5th.
Age groups are defined for males and females, ranging from 14 and Under to 70 and Over. Age for series points is determined by the participant's age as of December 13, 2025, or the first series race they run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
