Mardi Gras 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run - Reese, Michigan
The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Reese High School, 1696 S Van Buren Rd., Reese, MI 48757. Distances offered include a 5K Run, a 5K Walk, and a 10K Run.
Entry fee is $10.00 and no shirts are provided. For each entry, $2.00 will be donated to the Reese High School Athletic Program. Facilities at the venue include restrooms and use of locker rooms.
The course is described as flat and fast on asphalt roads. Awards are given to all finishers. The event is part of the BARC Winter Race Series. Series scoring awards 5 points for completing each race plus additional points for age-group placement: 5 points for first, 4 for second, 3 for third, 2 for fourth, and 1 for fifth. The highest total in each age group and distance receives a special series award. To qualify for the special award, a participant must run three races in the same age group and the same distance. Age used for series points is the participant's age as of December 13, 2025 or the first race they run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
