The Cherokee Chase 5K and Fun Run
The Cherokee Chase is the fourth annual event presented by Cherokee Christian Schools, held at Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia on May 2, 2026. The event program includes a chip-timed 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run.

Race day registration and packet pickup are available via QR code, with payment by credit or debit card only. Race proceeds will benefit the CCS Athletic Department. Participants who register for the 5K are entered to win one of five raffle prizes provided by local vendors. The event site will include vendor offerings and bounce houses for families.
Chip timing is provided by Elite Race Timing. The day’s schedule includes race day registration and packet pickup, the 5K, awards and raffle, and the Fun Run. Registrations submitted after April 20 will not be guaranteed a T-shirt.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female with a plaque and a medal. Medals are also awarded to first through third place finishers in each of the following age groups: 10 and under; 11 to 14; 15 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 and over.
