The Cherokee Chase 5K and Fun Run
The event is the 4th annual Cherokee Chase, presented by Cherokee Christian Schools. It takes place at Etowah River Park in Canton, Georgia. The event includes two activities: a 5K and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Proceeds benefit the CCS Athletic Department.
The race day schedule is:
- 6:45-7:45 AM: Race day registration and packet pickup.
- 8:00 AM: 5K start.
- 8:50 AM: Awards and raffle.
- 9:00 AM: Fun Run start.
Chip timing is provided by Elite Race Timing. There are awards for the top overall male and female finishers (plaque and medal) and for the 1st-3rd place runners in multiple age groups (medals). The age groups range from 10 and under to 70 and over. Registration after April 11th does not guarantee a T-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
