The Voodoo Keller / Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10k trail run
The event is a 10 km trail run based at the Voodoo Keller Bar in Chelmsford, Essex. It is organised under TRA permit number 8450 and carries a £2 levy for participants who are not TRA or England Athletics members. The route is provided as a GPX/Strava file with a narrative backup and is described as a fun event rather than a competition. The course is similar to the 2023 route now that a new bridge is complete.
Entry includes a drink at the brewery checkpoint and a further drink in the bar at the finish, and a finishers medal is provided for 2026. There is a tap room checkpoint inside the brewery where a marshal records arrivals and issues a beer token; participants may remain in the tap room until the tail-runner finishes a pint and then must rejoin the route. The tap room and bar entrances involve steps; the start requires ascending stairs out of the basement.
Registration takes place inside the Voodoo Keller Bar. The organiser provides access to a back area of the bar for bag storage at participants' own risk. Public transport options to the venue include buses, trains, bicycles, hire scooters and walking, and local car-parks are within a two minute walk. Total advertised capacity was 66 places and the event is listed as closed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
