The Voodoo Keller / Chelmsford Brew Co Summer 10k trail run
This event is a trail run over a 10 km route hosted from The Voodoo Keller Bar in Chelmsford, Essex. It holds TRA permit number 8450 and the entry fee includes a drink at a brewery checkpoint and a drink in the bar at the finish, plus a finishers medal new for 2026. A £2 levy applies for non TRA or EA members.
The route is a GPX and Strava course with a narrative backup. Organisers describe the event as fun rather than a competition and note the route is similar to the 2023 event now that the new bridge is complete. A narrative and map are planned to be added to the website in June or July.
Checkpoint details: the first checkpoint is the brewery tap room where a marshal records arrivals and issues a beer token. Participants may remain at the tap room until the tail runner finishes a pint, after which they must continue on the route. At the finish, the marshal stops the clock, finishers collect a medal and hand their race number to bar staff to claim the finishers drink.
Practical information includes use of the bar back area for bag storage at participants own risk, a range of public transport options to the venue, and local car parks within a two minute walk. The event is organised by Multisport Management and shows a waiting list status with a total of 66 places. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
