Event overview
The Cardiff Winter Warmer Run is a running event at Coopers Field, Bute Park, Cardiff (CF10 3DX) on Sunday 1 February 2026. Distances offered are 5k, 10k and half marathon. The event supports Shelter Cymru; fundraising is optional and there is no minimum target. Entry fees listed on the event page are £25 for the 5k and 10k and £30 for the half marathon. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2026 and online entries close on 24 January 2026 unless the event sells out. Results are provided via Results Base; the event is not UK Athletics affiliated.

The course is flat and mainly on paths with one short trail section. It is wheelchair friendly with the trail section noted as an exception; buggies are permitted. Full chip timing is used with the chip on the race bib. Race packs are collected on the morning of the event; registration is available on event day. Facilities include limited bag storage, toilets, marshals around the course, water at key points, and food/drink for sale at the event hub. Everyone receives a medal; trophies are awarded to winners.
