Event overview
The Cardiff Winter Warmer Run takes place on 1 February 2026 at Coopers Field, Bute Park, Cardiff (CF10 3DX). The event offers three distances:
- 5k
- 10k
- Half marathon
The event supports Shelter Cymru; fundraising is optional. Entry prices shown are £25 for the 5k and 10k, and £30 for the half marathon. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2026 and online entries close on 24 January 2026 (unless the event sells out).
Course, services and race procedures
The course is described as flat and mainly on paths with one trail section. The 5k is one lap, the 10k two laps, and the half marathon four laps plus an additional 1.1 km section. The route is listed as generally wheelchair friendly and suitable for buggies, with the caveat about the trail section.
Runners receive a chip on bib for timing, a medal, and access to water and snacks at the start, finish and lap station. Results are provided via the event timing system and displayed after finishing. There will be marshals on course, toilets and limited bag storage at the event hub, and food and drink for sale.
