The Cardiff Winter Warmer Run
The event takes place at Coopers Field in Bute Park, Cardiff CF103DX and offers three running distances. It supports Shelter Cymru; fundraising is optional and there is no minimum fundraising target. Entry prices increase on 2 January 2027.
The event uses chip on bib timing and provides medals and a small number of trophies. On-course provisions include water stations, finish line water and sweets, medical cover, marked and marshalled routes, and bag storage with limited capacity. Toilets and refreshments are available at the event hub. Partner benefits and voucher points are available through the organiser's booking system.
Course details: the route is mainly on paths and is described as flat with a single section of trail. The lap format differs by distance. Buggies are permitted and the course is wheelchair friendly with the caveat of the trail section. Marshals are positioned around the course and runners are asked to keep to the left unless directed otherwise. Headphone use is allowed provided runners can hear others and marshal instructions.
Travel notes state there is no parking within Bute Park; attendees are advised to use city centre car parks or public transport. Cardiff Central station is about a 10 minute walk from the event hub. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
