The Campout Ultra
The Campout Ultra is a timed endurance running event held October 17–18, 2026 at Champs Campground & RV Park in Whitehall, NY. The event uses a measured, flat 0.30 mile loop course located inside the campground where the entire loop remains visible throughout the event.
Runners compete to accumulate as many miles as possible before time expires. Race durations offered include:
- 6-Hour Ultra
- 12-Hour Ultra
- 24-Hour Ultra
Registration includes a custom finisher medal and access to a fully stocked aid station. Special awards are given to first place male and female in each division. On-site camping is available and the event is described as family friendly.
The event limits entry to 20 runners per division. Registration opens June 17, 2026 and closes October 1, 2026. The listed registration fee is $140.00. This is the inaugural running of the event and the field size is intentionally limited to provide a smaller race experience. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
