Harrison Freer Rotary Community 5K Run/Walk

The Harrison Freer Rotary Community 5K Run/Walk takes place April 18 through April 25, 2026, with activity centered at SUNY Adirondack in Queensbury, New York. The event offers both an in-person 5K run/walk on campus and a Virtual 5K option. The in-person course starts at the traffic circle on campus and finishes at the north end of campus.

Online registration for the in-person event closes April 16 and virtual entries remain open through April 18. Packet pickup and race-day registration are handled in the SUNY Adirondack Student Center on the day of the in-person event. T-shirts are available to the first 300 registrants and shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after March 28. A youth discount of $10 applies for participants age 12 and under.

The event names three community beneficiaries: Open Door Mission, Comfort Food Community Pantry, and Haynes House of Hope. Post-race celebration and refreshments will be available. Age group awards are presented at the finish line and team awards are presented in the Student Center after competitive runners have finished. There is on-campus parking for participants.
