The Bulldog Ultra - Calabasas, CA
The Bulldog Ultra is a trail running event held at Malibu Creek State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains. The event offers multiple distances and uses single track and fire roads that pass coastal viewpoints and mountain terrain. Runners can expect long, steep climbs and high canyon temperatures at times.

Course specifics are provided for the 25k and 50k. The 25k covers about 14.87 miles with 2,947 feet of climbing. The 50k covers about 29.4 miles with 5,784 feet of climbing and includes a second loop with support for drop bags and pacers. Aid stations are located at named points along the routes, including Bulldog Lateral, Top of Bulldog, Top of Puerco and Tapia; several stations are listed as fully stocked and some provide toilets.
Prizes and awards include a $3,500 prize purse for the 50k and a $500 course record bonus for the 25k. Overall podium awards are given for women, men and non-binary categories, plus age group awards. Finishers receive event apparel and handmade medals. The event also lists amenities such as race photography, post-race food, a 21-plus beer garden, sports massage, and same-day results with lap splits.
