The Bristol Winter Warmer Run
The Bristol Winter Warmer Run takes place on 14 February 2027 at Ashton Court, Long Ashton, Bristol (BS41 9LX). The event offers multiple race distances on the same course and supports the charity Shelter.
- 5 km - one lap
- 10 km - two laps
- Half Marathon - four laps
The course is a mix of trail and path. There is a steep incline for the first 2 km, then the route levels out before a downhill section. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Included for participants are full race chip timing, a medal, trophies for winners, penguin bars, water stations, finish line sweets and finish line water. The course is marked and marshalled and medical cover is provided. Chip-on-bib race numbers are used and race packs are collected at on-site registration. Bag storage is available but space is limited. Toilets, coffee and snacks will be available in the event hub.
Starts are staggered to reduce congestion and individual times are recorded when runners cross the starting mat. Results are displayed via the Results Base timing screen and an email update is sent after the race.
The Winter Warmer Runs are organised in support of the charity Shelter. Fundraising is optional with no minimum target. Shelter provides advice and support for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness and published service statistics for April 2024 to March 2025.
